If i could rate this place a 50/5 i would. Superb meet variety and ticks all the boxes. Not flashy, but perfect for a steak. Simple salad to accompany beautifully cooked steak on the charcoal.

Wife and I both had the porterhouse, cooked to absolute perfection. Love this place. Simple, very well priced, warm, cosy atmosphere. Best steak restaurant in sa by far. 100% recommend.

We ordered the T-bone and Porterhouse steaks, both generously portioned and served with a house salad, house bread, and a side of crispy chips. Surprise standout? The bread — it’s served cold, but somehow still incredibly fluffy. Totally unexpected! Chips were perfectly crunchy, and the steaks? Great quality, juicy, and value for money. The vibe is very casual — think local, laid-back, no-fuss — but that’s part of the charm. Chill atmosphere, good service. Honestly, we don’t even want to share this place… it’s already busy enough . But if you’re after a hearty, affordable steak and a no-frills good time, this is a spot you’ll want to keep in your back pocket.

We went there on a recommendation from my Mum who used to eat there when they were in Adelaide many years ago. Was definitely worth a visit! The staff are delightful! The meal was lovely, steak cooked just as we like it and those little Chevapchichi were a delicious addition! And I can't forget the bread...omg! Soft and fluffy! All in all, an enjoyable experience, thank you!

Honestly, one of the best steaks we’ve had.. ever! I ordered medium and was not disappointed. Partner ordered medium-well and loved the charcoal taste but it was still tender in the middle! If you want a melt in your mouth steak with amazing service, delicious wine and a decent price tag.. look no further! We will be back! Thank you

Food was very good if a little pricey. Steaks/meat barbecued over coals were tasty and well cooked. Waiters were attentive and helpful. Not a big restaurant, only open on weeknights. Best to book to avoid disappointment.

Glenelg BBQ Inn is our go-to spot for birthdays, and for good reason! The complimentary bread and butter were a delightful start, with this that bread set the tone for a great meal. The meats were perfectly cooked to the way you asked them to be, the spices were just amazinv! A blast full of flavors. there were salad as sides as well too! Some of the kids had a burger and their feedback was really good. They do have a small space for a steak inn but just manage a booking so you can secure a set, it gets pretty busy sometimes, it’s a popular for a reason.
